Join Travelian Tours for an extraordinary cultural shopping journey to Jalisco. Travel in comfort and safety on this rich excursion with a small group of travelers and our expert guides!

On our first day of travel the group will be driven to the charming lakeside town of Ajijic where we’ll be staying at a beautiful lakeside resort. Ajijic is an expat community with many galleries, shops, good restaurants, and its Malecon (lakeside walkway). We’ll enjoy lunch in Ajijic and have time to explore town before checking into our lakeside hotel. There will be time and transportation to go back to the village later, or you may decide to enjoy the lakeshore views and swim at the hotel’s pool, or have a cool drink before enjoying our dinner together that evening.

In addition to enjoying good food and exploring the village of Ajijic, our main goal is to visit the first-rate Annual Masters of Folk Art Fair at the Chapala Yacht Club nearby. On our second day, after breakfast, travelers will be driven to the fair on its Opening Day and will have time to visit all the featured artisans. Take in the festivities, and purchase the works of prize-winning master artisans from all over Mexico. Our group will head back to Ajijic mid-afternoon allowing time to rest or have a cold drink at our hotel before dinner.

On our final day, after breakfast and checking out of the hotel, the group will head back to San Miguel de Allende.

Discover Jalisco’s delicious food, outstanding artisan works, and first-rate shopping in comfort and style on this tour with Travelian’s friendly professional guides!
