Journey from Mexico City to Taxco, a picturesque, cobblestone-streeted “Pueblo Magico” located in the middle of steep hills and surrounded by lush semi-arid forests. Stay in a charming restored hotel right in the heart of town.

Take part in Taxco’s famed International Silver Festival. Experience the essence of this Silver extravaganza, and meet prize-winning artists who create these astonishing works of art.

Taxco is famous for the silver craft work that was revitalized by William Spratling and his team of local Mexican silversmiths in 1929. His movement became world renown due to his use of exquisite pre-Columbian motifs and the creativity and excellent workmanship of his silversmiths. Visit the Spratling Ranch for an in-depth view of past and current silvermithing.

Experience the vast Saturday Silver Market first hand, and have time to acquire a variety of finely crafted silverwork in Taxco’s plethora of shops and private galleries.

Whether you are a jeweler, collector, or an avid shopper, you will enjoy immersing yourself in the silver splendor of Taxco. Join us for this dazzling adventure to Taxco de Alarcon!
